L'Association des pharmaciens du Commonwealth (CPA) lance aujourd'hui un nouveau rapport succinct et un guide d'intervention sur l'enquête de prévalence ponctuelle. Il s'agit d'une ressource pratique conçue pour aider les établissements de santé à interpréter les résultats de leur enquête de prévalence ponctuelle (PPS) et à identifier des interventions ciblées de gestion des antimicrobiens (AMS).

The guide is fully compatible with both the Global-PPS and WHO methodologies, making it relevant for institutions worldwide. Throughout the document, the Global-PPS is highlighted as a key surveillance tool for antimicrobial prescribing in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

As partners in this project, Global-PPS reviewed the guide and is pleased to see how it complements the tools we already provide. The document serves as a helpful addition to the real-time feedback reports generated through the Global-PPS platform, aiding in interpreting PPS reports and suggesting relevant interventions to improve antimicrobial use.
