drive-AMS selected to join the Portuguese Sustainable Health Pact

The European drive-AMS project, which São João leads in Portugal, was selected to integrate the 1st phase of the Sustainable Health Pact (PaSSus) 2030, within the scope of the National Health Plan 2030 (PNS), recently launched and promoted by the portuguese General Directorate for the Health (DGS).

PaSSus selects projects considered to have great potential for improving health and that prioritise its promotion, ensuring access to care/interventions, as well as anticipating and preparing future scenarios.

drive-AMS is an international multicenter project (Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Greece, Lithuania and Romania), co-financed by EU4HEALTH. This new stimulus will allow it to obtain facilitating support for the dissemination of the project.

drive-AMS aims to reinforce and train the AMS programme teams, through the appropriate selection and implementation of behavioural change strategies. Coordinated by ULS São João on a national scale, the project’s leading team consists of professionals from ULS São João, IPO-Porto and ULS Tâmega e Sousa, and has already included eight hospitals from the National Health Service in the process.
