Hoy, la Asociación de Farmacéuticos de la Commonwealth (CPA) lanza un nuevo Informe breve y Guía de intervención de PPS. Se trata de un recurso práctico diseñado para ayudar a los centros sanitarios a interpretar los resultados de su Encuesta de Prevalencia de Puntos (PPS) y a identificar intervenciones específicas de administración antimicrobiana (AMS).

The guide is fully compatible with both the Global-PPS and WHO methodologies, making it relevant for institutions worldwide. Throughout the document, the Global-PPS is highlighted as a key surveillance tool for antimicrobial prescribing in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

As partners in this project, Global-PPS reviewed the guide and is pleased to see how it complements the tools we already provide. The document serves as a helpful addition to the real-time feedback reports generated through the Global-PPS platform, aiding in interpreting PPS reports and suggesting relevant interventions to improve antimicrobial use.
