PhD defence on Global-PPS and drive-AMS: invitation for online attendance

We are delighted to announce that on 15 September, Ines Pauwels will publicly defend her PhD thesis titled: “Global antimicrobial prescribing patterns and the initiation of stewardship activities in hospitals within the Global-PPS network”

This doctoral work explores worldwide antimicrobial prescribing practices and highlights the importance of initiating stewardship activities within hospitals to address the growing challenge of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). It brings together key initiatives in this field, among which the drive-AMS EU programme, and describes the programmes’ application of behaviour change theory in a hands-on training model to help hospitals design sustainable and context-specific stewardship programmes.

All those interested in antimicrobial stewardship and drive-AMS are warmly invited to attend online via this livestream link.
