partager sa derni\u00e8re publication scientifique explorant la mani\u00e8re dont la gestion des antimicrobiens (AMS) est mise en \u0153uvre dans les h\u00f4pitaux des pays \u00e0 revenu faible ou interm\u00e9diaire (PRFI) au sein du r\u00e9seau Global Point Prevalence Survey (Global-PPS). Alors que les enqu\u00eates de pr\u00e9valence ponctuelle sont devenues un outil essentiel pour suivre l'utilisation des antimicrobiens et promouvoir les activit\u00e9s de gestion, on en savait peu auparavant sur la mani\u00e8re dont les programmes AMS sont r\u00e9ellement mis en pratique dans ces environnements de soins de sant\u00e9 diversifi\u00e9s. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des entretiens qualitatifs approfondis avec 22 professionnels de la sant\u00e9 dans 16 pays, cette \u00e9tude r\u00e9v\u00e8le les r\u00e9alit\u00e9s quotidiennes, les d\u00e9fis et les strat\u00e9gies qui fa\u00e7onnent la mise en \u0153uvre de l'AMS dans les h\u00f4pitaux des PRFI.<\/p><p>L'\u00e9tude a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que la mise en \u0153uvre des AMS varie consid\u00e9rablement, certains h\u00f4pitaux n'en \u00e9tant qu'\u00e0 leurs d\u00e9buts et d'autres int\u00e9grant les AMS dans des efforts d'am\u00e9lioration de la qualit\u00e9 plus larges. Les participants ont soulign\u00e9 le Global-PPS comme une ressource pr\u00e9cieuse pour l'\u00e9ducation et la mise en \u0153uvre, mais ont \u00e9galement point\u00e9 du doigt des obstacles cl\u00e9s \u2013 soutien institutionnel limit\u00e9, contraintes de financement, d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s aux effectifs et lacunes en mati\u00e8re de diagnostics \u2013 qui ont souvent entrav\u00e9 la traduction des donn\u00e9es en actions. Quatre th\u00e8mes majeurs sont ressortis de l'analyse : le soutien et les ressources institutionnels, le fonctionnement et l'expertise de l'\u00e9quipe AMS, l'int\u00e9gration des recommandations AMS dans la pratique, et le r\u00f4le de la prise de d\u00e9cision bas\u00e9e sur les donn\u00e9es. Malgr\u00e9 les d\u00e9fis syst\u00e9miques, les professionnels de la sant\u00e9 ont fait preuve d'innovation et de r\u00e9silience, utilisant des strat\u00e9gies telles que le transfert de t\u00e2ches, la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 locale et le leadership adaptatif pour faire progresser les AMS.<\/p><p>Cette \u00e9tude \u00e9claire les d\u00e9terminants critiques de la mise en \u0153uvre r\u00e9ussie de la gestion des antimicrobiens (GAM) dans les pays \u00e0 revenu faible et interm\u00e9diaire (PRFI) et souligne l'importance de strat\u00e9gies contextualis\u00e9es et de la recherche sur le changement de comportement. Elle affirme \u00e9galement le r\u00f4le du Global-PPS comme \u00e9tant plus qu'un simple outil de surveillance : c'est une plateforme d'apprentissage partag\u00e9, de renforcement des capacit\u00e9s et de promotion d'une culture de g\u00e9rance au niveau mondial.
