projet Global-PPS a publi\u00e9 un nouvel article dans <em>M\u00e9decine Tropicale et Infectiologie<\/em> <em>Maladie<\/em>. L'objectif de l'\u00e9tude \u00e9tait d'\u00e9valuer les sch\u00e9mas de prescription des antimicrobiens chez les patients atteints de COVID-19 dans plusieurs h\u00f4pitaux multidisciplinaires russes, et de quantifier la prescription par rapport aux indicateurs de qualit\u00e9.<\/p><p>Le Global Point prevalence survey (Global-PPS) permet de collecter des informations standardis\u00e9es sur l'utilisation de m\u00e9dicaments antimicrobiens (AM) chez les patients hospitalis\u00e9s. L'objectif ultime du Global-PPS est d'\u00e9clairer le d\u00e9veloppement de mesures cibl\u00e9es dans le cadre de programmes locaux d'AMS et de suivre l'efficacit\u00e9 de leur mise en \u0153uvre. Le groupe d'\u00e9tude du projet russe Global-PPS a men\u00e9 une enqu\u00eate ponctuelle entre juin et d\u00e9cembre 2021, dans six h\u00f4pitaux de diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9gions de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration de Russie (Krasnoyarsk, Moscou, Omsk, Saratov, Smolensk et Yakoutsk). Les sch\u00e9mas de prescription d'AM dans les services COVID-19 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rapport\u00e9s, y compris pour les patients atteints d'infection COVID-19 suspect\u00e9e et av\u00e9r\u00e9e recevant au moins un antimicrobien pour quelque indication que ce soit.<\/p><p>Les r\u00e9sultats de l'\u00e9tude montrent que les sch\u00e9mas de prescription d'antimicrobiens chez les patients atteints de COVID-19 varient consid\u00e9rablement d'un h\u00f4pital \u00e0 l'autre en Russie. La prescription d'antibiotiques syst\u00e9miques est \u00e9lev\u00e9e, en particulier dans les unit\u00e9s de soins intensifs, avec une large part d'agents \u00e0 large spectre tels que les c\u00e9phalosporines de troisi\u00e8me et quatri\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, les fluoroquinolones et les carbap\u00e9n\u00e8mes. Le taux \u00e9lev\u00e9 de non-conformit\u00e9 de la th\u00e9rapie antibact\u00e9rienne aux directives pose un probl\u00e8me dans certains h\u00f4pitaux. La surveillance et la gestion de l'utilisation des antimicrobiens devraient \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9es aux soins des patients hospitalis\u00e9s pendant la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 et par la suite. Cette \u00e9tude servira de base au d\u00e9veloppement d'activit\u00e9s de gestion appropri\u00e9es, adapt\u00e9es aux pratiques locales de chaque h\u00f4pital polyvalent du projet.<\/p><p>La pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 a eu un impact s\u00e9v\u00e8re sur le syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration de Russie. Plus de 17,6 millions de cas de COVID-19 et plus de 365 000 d\u00e9c\u00e8s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9s au cours des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.
