En total, 28 profesionales se unieron in situ, apoyados por una fuerte presencia en l\u00ednea de m\u00e1s de 60 participantes. Cada equipo hospitalario, compuesto por l\u00edderes de AMS\/IPC, cl\u00ednicos, microbi\u00f3logos, farmac\u00e9uticos y enfermeras de control de infecciones, lleg\u00f3 preparado con un problema relacionado con el uso de antimicrobianos o la IPC en su propio entorno.<\/p><p><strong>Un enfoque pr\u00e1ctico y basado en equipo<\/strong><br \/>Durante tres d\u00edas intensos, los participantes se sumergieron en una experiencia de aprendizaje interactiva dise\u00f1ada en torno a tres pasos clave: definir un problema espec\u00edfico de AMS o IPC para el hospital, dise\u00f1ar un plan de medici\u00f3n basado en datos y prepararse para la implementaci\u00f3n en el hospital.<\/p><p>Un tema central a lo largo del curso fue la medici\u00f3n, incluyendo encuestas de prevalencia puntual (EPP) as\u00ed como otros m\u00e9todos para evaluar la cantidad y calidad del uso de antimicrobianos y el desempe\u00f1o de las pr\u00e1cticas de PCI. Los talleres se alternaron con tareas en equipo, discusiones grupales y momentos de intercambio de conocimientos. Los participantes presentaron sus problemas, recibieron retroalimentaci\u00f3n y refinaron sus estrategias con el apoyo de una facultad internacional multidisciplinaria que representaba al Caribe, Europa y los EE. UU.<\/p><p><strong>Mirando hacia adelante<\/strong><br \/>Cada equipo hospitalario sali\u00f3 del curso con un plan de medici\u00f3n concreto, que implementar\u00e1n durante los pr\u00f3ximos 6 a 8 meses. Esta fase incluir\u00e1 seminarios web, asesoramiento de expertos y capacitaci\u00f3n en l\u00ednea adicional, por ejemplo, sobre el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.global-pps.com\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Encuesta Global de Prevalencia de Puntos (Global-PPS)<\/a> metodolog\u00eda.
