El curso fue dise\u00f1ado para cerrar esta brecha, equipando a los participantes con herramientas y metodolog\u00edas pr\u00e1cticas para abordar sus desaf\u00edos m\u00e1s apremiantes en el uso de antibi\u00f3ticos, que van desde la profilaxis prolongada hasta el muestreo inadecuado de cultivos.<\/p><p><strong>Ciencia conductual<\/strong><br \/>Una caracter\u00edstica fundamental del curso drive-AMS es su \u00e9nfasis en las ciencias del comportamiento. Los participantes aprendieron a aplicar metodolog\u00edas de cambio de comportamiento a la ejecuci\u00f3n de proyectos locales de AMS. El proceso es estructurado y colaborativo: despu\u00e9s del curso, cada equipo regres\u00f3 a sus instituciones de origen para trabajar en estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n con tutores asignados durante los pr\u00f3ximos 18 meses. Su viaje incluye:<\/p><ul><li>medici\u00f3n: utilizando Global Point Prevalence Surveys (G-PPS), auditor\u00edas y m\u00e9tricas cuantitativas para evaluar las pr\u00e1cticas actuales;<\/li><li>an\u00e1lisis de barreras: identificaci\u00f3n de obst\u00e1culos que dificultan el uso \u00f3ptimo de antibi\u00f3ticos;<\/li><li>mapeo de intervenciones: vinculaci\u00f3n de barreras identificadas con intervenciones efectivas y basadas en evidencia;<\/li><li>implementaci\u00f3n: implementar intervenciones espec\u00edficas en su contexto local;<\/li><li>re-medici\u00f3n: evaluar el impacto de estas intervenciones para asegurar la mejora continua.<\/li><\/ul><p>Este enfoque estructurado y de base hace que la ciencia del comportamiento no solo sea accesible sino tambi\u00e9n pr\u00e1ctica en la pr\u00e1ctica diaria de la AMS.<\/p><p><strong>Fomentar la colaboraci\u00f3n<\/strong><br \/>A medida que m\u00e1s iniciativas de Gesti\u00f3n de Semillas Tolerantes a la Sequ\u00eda (AMS, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) echan ra\u00edces en Kenia y la regi\u00f3n, se vuelve cada vez m\u00e1s importante fomentar la colaboraci\u00f3n y compartir ideas. Supervisar los proyectos en curso y mantener canales de comunicaci\u00f3n abiertos puede ayudar a prevenir la duplicaci\u00f3n de esfuerzos y maximizar el impacto colectivo de las intervenciones de AMS.<\/p><p>Estamos emocionados de apoyar a estos equipos apasionados mientras se embarcan en sus proyectos de AMS, confiando en que su trabajo contribuir\u00e1 significativamente a la lucha contra la resistencia a los antimicrobianos en \u00c1frica Oriental.
