Financiado por EU4Health, el programa ya se est\u00e1 implementando en hospitales de Portugal, Ruman\u00eda, Lituania y Grecia. Por primera vez en Europa, drive-AMS se expandi\u00f3 m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de estos cuatro pa\u00edses, y el Prof. Em. Emmanuel Roilides, que dirige el equipo griego de drive-AMS, desempe\u00f1\u00f3 un papel fundamental al guiar a los participantes en Chipre a trav\u00e9s del proceso, compartiendo su experiencia en la implementaci\u00f3n de AMS en entornos hospitalarios.<\/p><p><strong>Un enfoque pr\u00e1ctico y colaborativo para la capacitaci\u00f3n de AMS<\/strong><\/p><p>El curso fue dise\u00f1ado con un objetivo claro: proporcionar capacitaci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica y pr\u00e1ctica para equipos multidisciplinarios de AMS, incluyendo m\u00e9dicos, microbi\u00f3logos, farmac\u00e9uticos y enfermeras. Siguiendo un enfoque estructurado y paso a paso, los participantes aprendieron a medir el uso de antibi\u00f3ticos, analizar las tendencias de prescripci\u00f3n y desarrollar estrategias de AMS adaptadas para optimizar las pr\u00e1cticas antimicrobianas en sus instituciones.<\/p><p>Como siempre, la preparaci\u00f3n fue clave. Antes del evento, los equipos revisaron el conjunto de herramientas pr\u00e1cticas de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud sobre programas de gesti\u00f3n de antimicrobianos y el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biomerieux.com\/content\/dam\/biomerieux-com\/medical-affairs\/educational-booklets\/Biom%C3%A9rieux%20Booklet%20AMR%20AMS%20a%20practical%20guide%20to%20implementation%20in%20hospital%202024.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Libro de AMS<\/a> resumiendo la filosof\u00eda central del programa drive-AMS. Los equipos tambi\u00e9n llevaron a cabo Encuestas de Prevalencia Puntual dentro de sus hospitales. Una capacitaci\u00f3n en l\u00ednea con instrucciones sobre c\u00f3mo realizar una EPP fue proporcionada por <a href=\"https:\/\/www.global-pps.com\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Global-PPS<\/a> los d\u00edas 2 y 10 de diciembre de 2024. El participante recibi\u00f3 m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n sobre los informes de retroalimentaci\u00f3n de Global-PPS e instrucciones sobre c\u00f3mo interpretar sus resultados. Los profesores compartieron mejores pr\u00e1cticas, estudios de caso y estrategias exitosas de AMS de toda Europa. Pero el aprendizaje no fue una calle de sentido \u00fanico: los propios participantes enriquecieron los debates, participando en una sesi\u00f3n de entrevistas de juego de roles, intercambiando experiencias y desaf\u00edos, y creando una red de profesionales de AMS en Chipre.<\/p><p><strong>Orientaci\u00f3n experta y apoyo continuo<\/strong><\/p><p>El curso no termin\u00f3 el 15 de febrero. Los equipos de AMS de Chipre ahora implementar\u00e1n sus proyectos en sus respectivos hospitales, respaldados por una tutor\u00eda experta continua. Se program\u00f3 un seminario web de seguimiento para abril de 2025, con recursos adicionales y consultas de expertos disponibles a trav\u00e9s del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spice-global.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Registro SPICE<\/a>. Al mantener un compromiso constante, los equipos de AMS tendr\u00e1n la oportunidad de mostrar su progreso, discutir desaf\u00edos y recibir orientaci\u00f3n experta para refinar sus estrategias. Se llevar\u00e1 a cabo un segundo seminario web de seguimiento en febrero de 2026.<\/p><p>El \u00e9xito de este curso de drive-AMS reafirma el papel fundamental que desempe\u00f1a una formaci\u00f3n estructurada y basada en datos en la lucha contra la resistencia a los antimicrobianos. Al fomentar un enfoque colaborativo y basado en la evidencia, drive-AMS est\u00e1 capacitando a los hospitales chipriotas para dar pasos significativos hacia la optimizaci\u00f3n del uso de antibi\u00f3ticos.
