\u00bfPuede presentarse y explicar en detalle su trabajo diario?<\/strong><\/h3>

Soy profesor de enfermedades infecciosas y trabajo en el Universidad de Medicina y Farmacia Iuliu Ha\u021bieganu hospital<\/a>. He trabajado en este campo durante m\u00e1s de 30 a\u00f1os, por lo que fui testigo del creciente fen\u00f3meno de la resistencia a los antimicrobianos (RAM). Inicialmente, comenc\u00e9 con algunas recomendaciones para diferentes tratamientos antimicrobianos. Esto ha evolucionado y ahora recomendamos antibi\u00f3ticos completamente diferentes debido a la sensibilidad antimicrobiana que los microbios han desarrollado con el tiempo. Nuestro objetivo es preservar el espectro de los antimicrobianos tanto como sea posible y saber c\u00f3mo dosificarlos correctamente. Para mis colegas y para m\u00ed, la gesti\u00f3n de los antimicrobianos (AMS) no es nada nuevo, pero no se cumple todos los d\u00edas y queremos mejorar esto.<\/p>

\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 son importantes el drive-AMS y la lucha contra la resistencia a los antimicrobianos?<\/strong><\/h3>

Este proyecto es muy relevante y los programas de gesti\u00f3n de antimicrobianos (AMS, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) son una parte esencial en la lucha contra la resistencia antimicrobiana (RAM). Los programas drive-AMS gu\u00edan a los profesionales m\u00e9dicos y a los responsables pol\u00edticos en el desarrollo y la implementaci\u00f3n de un programa AMS exitoso dentro de los sistemas de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica. El AMS es uno de los pilares en esta lucha, junto con otros programas que abordan el control y la prevenci\u00f3n de infecciones o las estrategias de seguridad del paciente. No solo es importante en los hospitales, sino tambi\u00e9n en la atenci\u00f3n ambulatoria o incluso en el hogar, en cualquier lugar donde usemos antimicrobianos para tratar infecciones.<\/p>

\u00bfQu\u00e9 ha logrado la red rumana drive-AMS en la primera mitad del proyecto? \u00bfQu\u00e9 encontraste desafiante? \u00bfQu\u00e9 te sorprendi\u00f3?<\/strong><\/h3>

Durante la primera parte del proyecto, tradujimos el material del curso y lo adaptamos a las caracter\u00edsticas de la situaci\u00f3n en Ruman\u00eda. Uno de nuestros objetivos es incluir tambi\u00e9n drive-AMS en la pol\u00edtica nacional de antibi\u00f3ticos. Actualmente, el proyecto se est\u00e1 llevando a cabo en dos condados, a saber, Cluj y Ia\u0219i. Nos preparamos lo m\u00e1s posible para el curso drive-AMS en el pa\u00eds realizando ensayos, por ejemplo, con un hospital de Satu Mare.<\/p>

En marzo, organizamos nuestra capacitaci\u00f3n en el pa\u00eds, que fue un \u00e9xito. Tuvimos una buena presencia de todos los hospitales de Cluj y me sorprendi\u00f3 gratamente lo motivados y entusiasmados que estaban los participantes.<\/p>

Lo que me result\u00f3 dif\u00edcil fue convencer a la gente de que tenemos que hacer AMS todos los d\u00edas, que el proceso es factible pero debe ser continuo. De lo contrario, corremos el riesgo de perder la ventaja en la AMR.<\/p>

\u00bfC\u00f3mo puso en pr\u00e1ctica los conocimientos adquiridos durante la formaci\u00f3n?<\/strong><\/h3>

Realizamos la Encuesta Global de Prevalencia de Puntos en marzo del a\u00f1o pasado y analizamos los datos despu\u00e9s. Pudimos identificar claramente nuestros problemas y propusimos una modificaci\u00f3n a nuestros protocolos antimicrobianos. Despu\u00e9s, hicimos una primera auditor\u00eda para ver si se hab\u00edan realizado mejoras, lo cual fue un muy buen ejercicio. Durante nuestro curso en el pa\u00eds, pudimos usar esto como ejemplo para los otros hospitales, lo que fue \u00fatil. En junio, llevaremos a cabo la \u00faltima parte de nuestro an\u00e1lisis de datos para ver si lo que propusimos era factible y una buena soluci\u00f3n para nuestro hospital.<\/p>

\u00bfPuede compartir alguna de las lecciones aprendidas?<\/strong><\/h3>

Inicialmente, pensamos que el comienzo ser\u00eda lo m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil, pero nos dimos cuenta de que continuar con AMS es en realidad la parte dif\u00edcil. Requiere tiempo y esfuerzo. Por lo tanto, decidimos organizar reuniones trimestrales con los equipos de AMS de cada hospital para discutir la situaci\u00f3n despu\u00e9s de la propuesta de las modificaciones. \u00bfSe acept\u00f3 la propuesta, se pudo implementar, fue respaldada por la direcci\u00f3n del hospital, etc.? As\u00ed, intentamos mantenernos en contacto regularmente con los participantes y asegurarnos de la continuaci\u00f3n de las actividades de AMS. Mi objetivo es crear una red de AMS en Cluj y, finalmente, expandirla a toda Rumania.<\/p>

\u00bfCu\u00e1les son sus expectativas para el futuro de la red drive-AMS en Ruman\u00eda?<\/strong><\/h3>

En estos momentos, carecemos de una gesti\u00f3n real, por lo que es necesario que el Ministerio de Salud aborde este problema y cree un plan nacional de coordinaci\u00f3n de la RAM. Adem\u00e1s, el p\u00fablico debe ser consciente de lo que intentamos lograr, por lo que el gobierno deber\u00eda lanzar una campa\u00f1a de concienciaci\u00f3n sobre la RAM.<\/p>
