Reserva) Antibiotic Book<\/a>. Tiene como objetivo abordar uno de los objetivos de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/publications\/i\/item\/9789241509763\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Plan de Acci\u00f3n Mundial sobre la RAM<\/a> \u201cOptimizar el uso de medicamentos antimicrobianos, con un enfoque en medicamentos antimicrobianos que incluyen antibi\u00f3ticos, medicamentos antif\u00fangicos, antivirales y antiprotozoarios.<\/p><p>El libro es una gu\u00eda concisa y basada en evidencia para elegir antibi\u00f3ticos, dosis, v\u00edas de administraci\u00f3n y duraci\u00f3n del tratamiento para m\u00e1s de 30 de las infecciones cl\u00ednicas m\u00e1s comunes en ni\u00f1os y adultos, tanto en atenci\u00f3n primaria como en entornos hospitalarios.<\/p><p>Las gu\u00edas de tratamiento emp\u00edrico son una parte importante de las actividades de optimizaci\u00f3n del uso de antimicrobianos (AMS, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) en los hospitales, y la existencia y el cumplimiento de las gu\u00edas locales son indicadores de calidad importantes que se eval\u00faan en el Global-PPS. Sin embargo, hasta ahora, ha habido una falta de gu\u00edas f\u00e1cilmente accesibles y basadas en evidencia de fuentes confiables para muchas infecciones comunes en muchos pa\u00edses, especialmente en entornos de ingresos bajos y medios.
