href=\"https:\/\/aricjournal.biomedcentral.com\/track\/pdf\/10.1186\/s13756-021-01010-w.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">una encuesta<\/a> a trav\u00e9s de su red, descubriendo que muchos hospitales, predominantemente en pa\u00edses de ingresos bajos y medios, se enfrentaban a una capacidad de laboratorio insuficiente y a un uso sub\u00f3ptimo de los servicios de laboratorio disponibles. Los participantes del Global-PPS informaron esto como una de las barreras m\u00e1s importantes para implementar eficazmente programas de administraci\u00f3n de antimicrobianos.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.msf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M\u00e9dicos Sin Fronteras<\/a> (MSF) desplegar\u00e1 pronto su innovador <a href=\"https:\/\/antibiogo.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aplicaci\u00f3n Antibiogo<\/a> en varios de sus laboratorios en Mal\u00ed, Jordania, Yemen y la Rep\u00fablica Centroafricana. Esta aplicaci\u00f3n de Android gratuita, de c\u00f3digo abierto y descargable sin conexi\u00f3n contribuir\u00e1 a un aumento de la tecnolog\u00eda de la informaci\u00f3n para apoyar la prescripci\u00f3n antimicrobiana en pa\u00edses de ingresos bajos y medianos (MICS). La innovadora herramienta ayuda a combatir la resistencia a los antibi\u00f3ticos al apoyar a los m\u00e9dicos a prescribir los antibi\u00f3ticos m\u00e1s efectivos a los pacientes.<\/p><h2><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es Antibiogo? <\/strong><\/h2><p>Antibiogo es una aplicaci\u00f3n de diagn\u00f3stico que permite a los t\u00e9cnicos de laboratorio medir e interpretar antibiogramas. Estas son pruebas que determinan la susceptibilidad de las bacterias a diferentes antibi\u00f3ticos. En la pr\u00e1ctica, la aplicaci\u00f3n permite medir los di\u00e1metros de inhibici\u00f3n en antibiogramas y, sobre todo, interpretar los resultados directamente en un tel\u00e9fono, sin necesidad de tener experiencia en microbiolog\u00eda. Los resultados son particularmente precisos: dependiendo de la bacteria, del 90 al 98 % corresponden a la interpretaci\u00f3n de microbi\u00f3logos cualificados.<\/p><p>Antibiogo obtuvo recientemente la certificaci\u00f3n CE y estar\u00e1 disponible para todos los laboratorios de microbiolog\u00eda en pa\u00edses de ingresos bajos y medianos despu\u00e9s de la certificaci\u00f3n final en 2023.<\/p><h2><strong>C\u00f3mo empez\u00f3 \u00a0<\/strong><\/h2><p>El proyecto naci\u00f3 en 2017 con la idea de desarrollar un dispositivo m\u00e9dico que utilice procesamiento de im\u00e1genes, inteligencia artificial y un sistema experto existente.
