The Global-PPS has established a global network of hospitals conducting point prevalence surveys and provides quantifiable measures to assess and compare quantity and quality of antimicrobial prescribing and resistance in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.global-pps.com\/ar\/project\/inpatient-module\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">inpatient<\/a> \u0648 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.global-pps.com\/ar\/project\/outpatient-module\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">outpatient<\/a> adults, children and neonates worldwide. The Global-PPS creates global awareness about antibiotic use and resistance and is instrumental in planning and supporting national and local stewardship interventions in a range of resource and In addition to the basic PPS, one extra form per patient on antimicrobials needs to be completed. The extra HAI module is completely optional.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The<strong> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.global-pps.com\/ar\/project\/outpatient-module\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">outpatient<\/a><\/span> version<\/strong> of the PPS allows to survey antimicrobial use in the outpatient.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both in- and outpatient wards can be surveyed simultaneously using the respective
